Family Hearing Care offers a wide variety of hearing instruments featuring the latest technology. We specialize in digital hearing instruments. We can also service and repair all makes and models of hearing instrument from any hearing aid manufacturer. Our staff emphasizes ongoing cleaning and maintenance after your hearing aid purchase to insure your receive optimum performance and benefit from your hearing aids. We encourage all our patients to come in for a regular hearing aid evaluation and cleaning at no charge.

 

• Hearing Aid Accessories

Hearing aid batteries, custom-made ear molds, swim plugs, noise protectors, assistive listening devices such as audio induction loops, infrared systems and FM modulated systems, TV listening devices and telephone amplifiers, and items for the care and maintenance of your hearing aids are always available.

 

• Ear Molds

People who do not want water in their ear canals can have floatable swimmer's ear plugs made of a water resistant material which can even be made to change colors!

 

• Tinnitus Diagnostics & Management

Tinnitus is a common condition, where a person experiences a ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears. Tinnitus will not cause you to go deaf, but its presence may affect your daily activities

 

• Audiological Evaluations

Complete hearing testing from six months of age through adult. If medically necessary we will refer you to an E.N. T or your primary care physician. Evaluations include measures of hearing sensitivity for Air and Bone conducted sounds, measures of Speech Discrimination ability and as well as Speech Reception Thresholds. When necessary, assessment of the middle ear function (impedance audiometry), and special testing to determine the location of dysfunction by a certified Audiologist.
